Palmetto Xpress vs Upper Cumberland Stars

Upper Cumberland Stars came out swinging the bats early and often. Upper Cumberland Stars’ offensive attack was led by Caleb, Carson, Evan, and Levi. Levi had a late-inning RBI single to extend Upper Cumberland Stars lead. Ethan had a two-run double to extend the Stars lead over the Xpress. Upper Cumberland Stars also had a dominant pitching performance from Seth. Seth only allowed one earned run to a very talented Palmetto Xpress offense. Upper Cumberland Stars defeat Palmetto Xpress fourteen to one.

 

Northern Kentucky vs Knights North

Northern Kentucky versus Knights North was a back and forth hard-fought game. Knights North jumped out to early one to nothing lead. However, Northern Kentucky Elite reclaimed the lead with a three-run inning from the bats of Vest, Mason, Scheben, and Wilson. At the bottom of the third, Mason extended Northern Kentucky Elite’s lead by scoring two runs with a single. Knights North answered with a big inning of their own, Link had a two-run triple to cut the lead in half. Warnock scored Link with an RBI single the very next at-bat. This late-game comeback was not enough as Northern Kentucky Elite extended their lead in the later innings.

 

Knox Stars vs Grays Perez

Early on Knox Stars versus Grays Perez was a pitching battle between Glenn (Knox Stars) and Dick (Gray Perez). Glenn was dominant as he only allowed one run early in the game then held a very talented Perez lineup scoreless the rest of the game. Knox Stars offense opened the game up later on with some big swings from Fielden, Bolton and Willet. The Knox Stars offense was relentless scoring in almost every inning of the game. The Knox Stars defeated Grays Perez five to one.

AASA Elite vs Knights North

Knights North jumped out to an early lead with a first-inning RBI single from Jones. A few pitches later Smith added to the lead with an RBI single to extend the Knights lead over AASA Elite. The Knights offense erupted in the second inning with big hits from Link, Stalcup, and Fergerson. Fergerson had a two-run bases-clearing triple to extend the Knights commanding lead over AASA Elite. AASA Elite made a late-game comeback after an RBI single from Nolan Sailor kick-started the AASA Elite. AASA Elites’ comeback was not enough as Knights North held the lead and won nine to six.
