Base Knox vs. WPI

Base Knox scored two in the top of the first from a two-out double from #24 P. Seals. He scored as well on a passed ball. Score was now 2-0 in favor of Base Knox going into the bottom half of the first. #3 E. Painter worked a scoreless bottom of the first preserving the lead at 2-0. Base Knox scored another run in the top of the second via a passed ball, extending their lead to 3-0. #3 E. Painter worked another scoreless frame as Base Knox continue to cruise. #24 E. Seals knocked in another for Base Knox, making the score 4-0. #3 E. Painter worked around two, two-out walks to strand two, keeping the lead at 4-0. #28 P. Sanders worked a scoreless top of the fourth for WPI, keeping the Base Knox lead at 4-0. L. Tea knocked a single back up the middle for WPI putting two runners on first and second with no outs. #57 W. Hobgood drove in a run with a line drive single cut the Base Knox lead to 4-1 with two on and no outs. #45 A. Jones grounds into a fielder’s choice but scored one more for WPI making the score 4-2. #12 S. Knotts came in and worked a scoreless frame for WPI in the top of the fifth. #33 D. Varitek worked around a couple of base runners and managed to escape the inning scoreless, keeping the Base Knox lead at 4-2. Base Knox scored one in the sixth on a passed ball for a big insurance run making the score 5-2. Base Knox scored two more in the inning on two bases loaded walks pushing the lead to 7-2. Final Score 7-2.

Mavericks vs. Blue Sox

Blue Sox scored three in the top of the first inning and headed into the bottom half with some cushion. Gardener knocked in one followed by two more RBI’s to make the score 3-3. #44 Orr worked a scoreless top of the second for the Mavericks keeping the score at 3-3. #7 Hare worked around a walk and stranded a runner to keep the tie. #44 Orr gave up a single but stranded the runner on second, score was still 3-3. #4 Whitman knocked in a run making the score 4-3 in the bottom of the third. #44 Orr helped himself out and drove in a run extending the Mavericks lead to 5-3. #5 High grounded into a fielder’s choice, but a run scored making it 6-3. Blue Sox scored one in the top of the fifth, from a single from #0 Woody, making the score 6-4. Mavericks scores one in the bottom of the sixth from an RBI single to extend the lead to 7-4. Mavericks scores two more times in the bottom of the sixth, courtesy of a wild pitch and RBI single making the score 9-4.

Pro Hitting vs. Cyclones

27 Hailey worked a scoreless top of the first for Pro Hitting Prospects. The Prospects scored two on an RBI single from #4 Bobo and a defensive miscue from the Cyclones making the score 2-0 going into the second. There was nothing going for the Cyclones in the top of the second as #27 Hailey worked another scoreless inning. Pro Hitting scored another run off a monster double from J. Houser, extending the lead to 3-0. Both pitchers worked one-two-three innings in the third as we went into the fourth with the score still 3-0. #27 Hailey worked a scoreless fourth inning for Pro Hitting, he cruised through four thus far. #20 T. Vinson worked a scoreless frame in the fourth inning. He looked to have settled in, lots of good pitching in this game. The Cyclones got two on base in the top of the fifth but will strand them both as the score stayed at 3-0. Kid dislocated kneecap had to deal with that. Final Score 8-0.

Base Knox Sox vs. RBI Prime

20 T. Humphrey worked around a base runner to keep RBI scoreless in the top of the first. #14 G. Vincil worked a scoreless inning for RBI and the score was zero-all going into the second inning. Base Knox scratched one across in the bottom of the second on a big fly from #11 B. Fields. A double from #33 D. Varitek pushed the lead to 2-0, now in favor of Base Knox. A wild pitch brought in another run for Base Knox as they extended the lead to 3-0. RBI scratched two across in the top of the third, shrinking the Base Knox lead to 3-2. A well-executed squeeze bunt scored one for Base Knox. Their lead was now 4-2 going into the bottom of the fifth inning. #3 ripped a big two-run RBI single for Base Knox as the lead was now 6-2. A fielder’s choice pushed across another for Base Knox as the lead stretched to 7-2. Sox pushed across one more and the final score was 8-2.

Orioles 2023 vs. TN Rage

TN Rage scored a run from an RBI single off the bat of #27 A. Moore, making it 1-0. Another score on an Orioles fielding miscue and the lead stretched to 2-0 in favor TN Rage going into the bottom of the first. #24 Z. Helton worked a quick one-two-three inning for TN Rage in the bottom of the first, the lead was still 2-0. TN Rage score one in the second inning on a bases-loaded walk making the score 3-0. A fielder’s choice and an error from the TN Rage pushed across two runs for Orioles in the bottom of the second, making the score 3-2. A bloop single to right scored another run for Orioles and the game was tied. Back-to-back two-out hits pushed another run across for Orioles as they took a 5-3 lead. The Orioles worked a scoreless top of the third keeping the lead at 5-3. A sac fly for Orioles score another in the bottom of the third making it 6-3. A fielder’s choice scored another run for Orioles in the fourth making it 7-3. A wild pitch scored another run for Orioles making it 8-3. An RBI single scored the runner from third , 9-3 in favor of Orioles. A bases loaded walk scored a run for TN Rage in the fifth making it 9-4. A wild pitch scored another and the Orioles lead was cut to 9-5. A sac fly scored one for the Orioles in the bottom of the fifth extending their lead to 10-5. Final score 10-5.

RedStitch 108 vs. HardKnox Orioles

Orioles scored two in the top of the first on two big doubles from #42 and #5, making it 2-0 in favor of Orioles. #11 Johnson worked around a double from RedStitch to hold them scoreless in the first. #1 Massengil worked a 1,2,3 second inning for RedStitch holding the Orioles lead at 2-0. A walk by #17 and a single for #3 Dalton had RedStitch in business in the third with two on and one out. An infield single for #11 Massengil loaded the bases with one out. A big strikeout and a 1-3 putout got the Orioles out of the inning without allowing any runs. An RBI double for #33 pushed the Orioles lead to 3-0. A deep sac fly from #42 knocked in another for the Orioles, pushing their lead to 4-0. #5 executed a perfect hit and run, scoring another run for Orioles and putting runners on first and third. 5-0 Orioles. #10 knocked in another run for the Orioles, making the lead 6-0 with the bases loaded. #14 ripped an RBI single to, extending the lead to 7-0. #66 Fray hit a big fly for RedStitch making the score 7-2. An error by RedStitch pushed the Orioles lead to 8-2. #11 Johnson worked another one-two-three inning for the Orioles and the score was still 8-2 going into the top of the fifth. An infield single for #9 scored another run for the Orioles, making their lead 9-2. #42 doubled in another run, 10-2. Another RedStitch error brought in two more, and the lead was pushed to 12-2. A sac fly scored another, and the score moved to 13-2.

TN Bombers vs. BaseKnox Orioles 2023

The Orioles jumped out to an early lead off RBI singles from #42 and #1, making the score 2-0 going into the bottom of the first. Bombers answered right back with a two-run RBI single from #16 E. Goins followed with a big double from #2 J. Lamattina made the score 3-2. Both pitchers cruised since the first inning, not giving up any runs. The score was still 3-2 going into the bottom half of the fourth. A fielder’s choice scored one for Bombers as the lead was extended to 4-2. TN Bombers vs. Base Knox Sox

13 D. Slifka got a 1,2,3 inning for the TN Bombers and the score was 0-all going into the bottom half. The TN Bombers hopped out front early, courtesy of an RBI single from #10, making the score 1-0. The Sox threatened, putting two on, but stranded them, keeping the score at 1-0. Bombers scratched across another run in the bottom of the second, and extended their lead to 2-0. #2 Pryse worked a scoreless bottom of the third, holding the Bombers lead to 2-0. #13 D. Slifka worked another scoreless inning to keep the lead at 2-0. Both teams went scoreless in the fourth inning, and the lead stood at 2-0 going into the top of the fifth. Both pitchers worked a quick fifth inning, leaving the score unchanged. The sixth inning went by quickly as well. Both pitchers worked efficiently and hung another scoreless frame. The score was 2-0 going into the last inning.
