Game Reports 3:45 game: Vols Baseball vs EKY Crusaders
In the first inning, the Vols managed get their leadoff batter #7 Connor C on base with a single. #8 Brice N went on to drive him in with a situational ground ball. The Crusaders responded with two of their own as #9 Bradric Helton had a single up the middle and was brought in with a sac fly from #40 Mike Neal. Right after, #21 Brandin Crawdford had a solo homerun to dead center. The Vols tied the game up in the third with a single up the middle from #42 Nolan J. The Vols took the lead in the top of the seventh with #1 Chase E’s backside linedrive single. The final score of the game was Vols Baseball 6, EKY Crusaders 3.
Game Reports 6pm game: Diamond USA vs Vols Baseball
Vols Baseball came out the gates hot as they took two consecutive walks and #42 Nolan J had a two-run RBI double giving his team an early 2-0 lead. Diamond USA scored a run of their own as a result of good base running, taking home on a passed ball. The Vols had a few runs in the third as #7 Connor C had a 2 RBI single. Also, in the inning Connor had a two-run RBI double, padding his team’s lead 7-1. Diamond USA responded with an RBI ground rule double from #2 Zack McCoy. The final score of the game was Vols Baseball 10, Diamond USA 3.
Game Reports 8:15pm game: 643 DP Cougars vs EKY Crusaders
A huge second inning gave the EKY Crusaders a substantial lead. The rally was started by #2 Grant Miller who had an RBI groundout giving his team momentum. #20 Landon Siler followed that up with a two-run RBI backside single giving his team a 3-0 lead. Later in the inning #17 Blake Abbott had a huge RBI double making it 9-0. The Cougars responded in the third inning with a run of their own as #2 Arnold beat out a grounder to the second baseman for a single. The Cougars rally back with the help of #14 Carson who had an RBI single into left center. The final score of the game was EKY Crusaders 11, 643 DP Cougars 10.

East TN Yankees vs West Kentucky Outlaws
Treven Myers took the mound for East TN Yankees and allowed one run through four innings. Reese Oakley took the mound for West Kentucky Outlaws and only allowed two runs through three innings. Noah Nyberg tied the game in the bottom of the sixth with an RBI single to right field. Meade stranded a runner on third base for East TN Yankees and held the game to a tie. East TN Yankees versus West Kentucky Outlaws ended in a tie after seven innings.

MT Raiders vs Knoxville Stars
Knoxville Stars jumped out to an early lead with a two-run single from Larue in the top of the first. Abrams extended the Stars lead with single in the top of the first. Martin extended the Stars lead with an RBI double in the top of the second. Lopez got MT Raiders on the board in the bottom of first with an RBI single. Knoxville Stars run rule MT Raiders twelve to one in five innings.

Diamond Gold vs Diamond USA
Michael Delph took the mound for Diamond Gold and had an impressive start. Strotten Scutt took the mound for Diamond USA and also turned in an impressive start. Micah Hoffeister got Diamond Gold on the board with an RBI sac fly. Eli Evans hit a two-run double in the bottom of the third inning to take the lead for Diamond Gold. Diamond Gold defeated Diamond USA with a walk off single.
Diamond Gold vs 6-4-3 DP Cougars
Diamond Gold versus 6-4-3 DP Cougars was a back and forth pitching battle early on. Walker took the mound for Diamond Gold and rarely allowed hitters to reach base safely. Micheal Delph had an RBI single in the bottom of the fourth to extend Diamond Golds lead. Hall had a two-run double in the bottom of the fourth as well to extend the lead even further for Diamond Gold. Diamond Gold’s offensive attack was led by Neely, Evans, Walker, and Delph. Diamond Gold run ruled 6-4-3 DP Cougars eight to zero
Rocket City Dynamite Baseball vs East Tennessee Yankees
Rocket City Dynamite Baseball jumped out to an early lead with a two-run infield single from Lamir. Gresham extended Rocket City Dynamite’s lead with an RBI in the top of the third inning. East Tennessee Yankees reclaimed the lead in the bottom of the fourth inning. East Tennessee’s Yankees big inning came from a two-run single from Jacob Meade and an RBI double from Durmaz. East Tennessee Yankees defeated Rocket City Dynamite seven to four.
Vols Baseball vs 6-4-3 DP Cougars
Vols Baseball jumped out to an early lead with an RBI from Brice in the top of the first. Vols baseball starting pitcher Eli was dominant in his outing allowing few hitters to reach base safely. The Vols offensive attack was led by Connor, Brice, Eli, Nolan, and Chase. The Vols scored in almost every inning of the game. Vols run ruled 6-4-3 DP Cougars in six innings winning nine to one.

Western Kentucky Outlaws vs EKY Crusaders
Crawford got EKY Crusaders on the board first with a hard-hit RBI double in the left center field gap. London Durbin got Western Kentucky Outlaws on the board with an RBI single in the bottom of the first inning. Lukas Hannah had a two-run double in the bottom of the fourth inning. Western Kentucky Outlaws Griffin took the mound in relief and closed the door only allowing one run to cross the plate. Western Kentucky Outlaws defeat EKY Crusaders five to three.

East Tennessee Yankees vs Diamond Gold
Treven Myers got East Tennessee Yankees on the board first with a sac fly in the top of the first inning. In the bottom of the second, Micah Hoffmeister had an RBI triple to give Diamond Gold the lead. Carson Hoffmeister had an RBI double in the bottom of the third to extend Diamond Gold’s lead. Dawson Walker also extended Diamond Gold’s lead with an RBI double. Diamond Gold’s offensive attack was led by both Hoffmeisters, Eli, Rex, and Walker. Diamond Gold defeated East Tennessee Yankees five to one in seven innings.

Western Kentucky Outlaws vs Vols
Western Kentucky Outlaws versus the Vols was a back and forth battle. Western Kentucky Outlaws jumped off to an early lead with a sac fly from Durbin and an RBI single from Scott Morratt. The Vols reclaimed the lead with RBI singles from the bats of Brice and Nolan. The Vols added to their lead in the bottom of the fourth with an RBI double from Hox and an RBI single from Connor. Hox came in relief for the Vols and made quick work of the Western Kentucky Outlaws. The Vols defeat Western Kentucky Outlaws nine to two in seven innings.

Dawson Walker got Diamond Gold on the board in the top of the first inning with an RBI single. Eli Evans extended Diamond Gold’s lead with a two-run double in the top of the third inning. Rex extended the lead for Diamond Gold in the top of the third as well with a sac fly. Carson Hoffmeister made quick work of a very talented Vols lineup, he rarely allowed hitters to
reach base safely. Diamond Gold ran away with the game defeating the Vols in the championship.
